3. Make sure your phone is working. Before you leave the house, make sure your phone is charged. This will ensure you can call for help that may include the police. If help is unable to arrive in time you can call for a ride or for help should you get into a dangerous situation and you may need to direct help to where you are.
4. Outside support. Your family will start to panic if you don’t get where you’re supposed to be on time. Make sure that someone else knows where you are and what has happened.
5. You may be able to get a temporary key from the dealer to open the door or make sure you have a spare in your purse or wallet. You can also have a hidden on the car in a magnetic box.
